2015 Boston Film Festival at Stuart Street Playhouse
Every September Boston welcomes the brightest and biggest names in the movie industry to present their newest works. From highly entertaining blockbusters and cutting-edge independent films to educational documentaries and everything in between, this four-day festival is a highlight of the fall arts season and one of the best things to do in Boston. Now in its 31st year, this annual celebration is a must-see for any fan of film.
Opening night presents a special screening of "Wild", the hit film starring Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern. There are also several screenings focusing on local talent with exclusive Boston premieres and independent movies from Massachusetts you won't see anywhere else. Many of the talented artists from on-screen and behind the camera will be on hand to talk about their movies. In the past actors such as George Clooney, Aaron Eckhart and Melissa Leo have made appearances, and 2015 promises to deliver many memorable stars. Sometimes the best part of the event is when the lights come up because there are always lively discussions and engaging question and answer sessions with directors and actors.
All screenings take place at the Stuart Street Playhouse in the heart of the beautiful Theater District. The venue is about a 15-minute walk or quick cab ride from our hotel along Boston's waterfront. The festival takes place from September 24 to 28, so make your hotel reservation with us today and get your tickets in advance for the movies of your choice. Don't miss the 2015 Boston Film Festival!
