French Restaurant in Boston

Miel French Restaurant at Boston Hotel
InterContinental® Boston's own French restaurant is the city's first Provence-themed brasserie and takes its name from the French word for honey, miel. Miel Brasserie Provençale celebrates the organic wonders and intoxicating flavors of France's fascinating Côte d'Azur region, focusing on herbs, lavender, honey and olive oil. Le Provençe is known as the "the gardens of France" and Executive Chef Didier Montarou creates straightforward, innovative delights utilizing Southern France's favorites of honey, olive oil, tomatoes, vegetables, herbs, and seafood.

French Restaurant Specialties

Specialties of the house at our delightful French restaurant include: Pistou Soup (traditional Provençal vegetable soup), La Bouillabaisse (a Provence treat of fish boiled with herbs), Burger Trilogy (beef, lobster and tuna niçoise) and Honey Crème Brûlée. The delightfully inspired organic fare is served in our charming and warmly decorated dining room or outdoor patio overlooking the Boston water.

Miel restaurant seats 120 people and features its own private dining room, "The Olive Oil Museum," with seating for 14 at a chef's table made from a 1,000-year-old olive tree. In a twist of new and old, Miel showcases a classic New England Raw Bar with additional outdoor seating for 90 people overlooking the water and InterContinental® Gardens. Miel is located on the lobby level of our hotel, accessible via the InterContinental® Gardens and lobby.

We are proud to announce that Miel is now a Certified Green Restaurant®. Come and enjoy a great dining experience at our green landmark restaurant in the heart of Boston's historic Waterfront.
