From the Wings Exhibit

InterContinental Boston and world-renowned Boston Ballet present a photo exhibit entitled From the Wings in the lobby of the hotel through May 2010. For the first time, never before seen photography by Boston Ballet soloist, Sabi Varga is being shown which features 17 images through the lens of Varga that capture unique dance moments from behind-the-scenes at Boston Ballet along with select contemporary and traditional costumes.

The photos featured in the From the Wings exhibit capture Vargas artistic perspective of Boston Ballets diverse repertoire such as the modern Jir Kylins Black and White and George Balanchines The Four Temperaments both to be performed by the Company in May 2010, as well as classics of Boston Ballets repertoire such as The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. Vargas unique backstage and rehearsal imagery is also included. Costumes from Black and White and Copplia, performances to be presented April 2010, are also displayed as part of the exhibit.
