Discover a celebration of patriotism, populism, and Francophone culture as Boston once again hosts its annual Bastille Day Party. Marlborough Street will be blocked off for this street festival and dance party, which features an incredible musical lineup of French artists including Ben l'Oncle Soul and Daby Touré.
Taking place on Friday, July 14th, Bastille Day is the "French 4th of July," - the day that citizens stormed the Bastille Prison, releasing the prisoners and setting off the French Revolution. It's only fitting that we host a blowout Bastille Day Party in Boston, the city where the American Revolution began.
Along with the musical performances, the block party features fine French cuisine from some of the city's top French restaurants. Enjoy beer and wine, and join in the dancing in the streets. Celebrate your freedom à la française. Find the party in the Back Bay on Marlborough Street, which will be blocked off between Berkeley and Clarendon Streets for the event.
