Wear something green and get there early: the South Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade is back and bigger than ever this year! Kicking off at 1 pm on Sunday, March 20, this annual Irish celebration honors the city's roots on the Emerald Island. Listen to bands of bagpipers, watch equestrian teams, marching groups, Irish dancers and musicians as they make their way through the city. Bands from all over the country come to Boston to be part of this massive event, which attracts anywhere from half a million to a million fans. The parade begins at the Broadway "T" Station and travels down Broadway to East 4th Street, 5th Street, Telegraph Street, Dorchester Street, and finally to Andrew Square. For best viewing, grab a spot along Broadway - and stay afterwards to explore the Irish pubs and food specials in South Boston.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade is also broadcast on live TV for those of you that don't want to brave the crowds. All the rooms and suites at our waterfront hotel are outfitted with 55" HDTVs, perfect for watching the parade or anything else. You'll also have premium cable channels, luxury bedding, and a separate soaking tub. And our location is ideal for exploring the best Boston events. Ready to learn more? Please contact us today.
