Parades and Special Events for Veteran's Day in Boston 2015

Honor our nation's finest, with a trip to Boston to celebrate Veteran's Day. Featuring two parades that wind their way through the city, Boston takes great pride in remembering our troops of every generation. There are also several special events to commemorate our cherished military members. Reflect and remember the sacrifice that our veterans have made throughout the years with an unforgettable visit to Boston on Wednesday, November 11th.

The parade route starts in historic Back Bay at Boylston and Tremont Streets. It travels through the city around Boston Common and past City Hall Plaza, two excellent viewing points for spectators. Cheer on military units, high school ROTC members, veteran organizations, honorary militias, and military marching bands. Veterans for Peace march right behind the official parade offering two worthwhile events along the route. Stop by Faneuil Hall near the statue of revolutionary patriot, Samuel Adams, to hear speeches on everything from poetry and battle stories to inspiring readings and live music. With Boston's important role during the American Revolution, there are also several fascinating military sites to explore during your visit. From the historic battleship USS Constitution to the Bunker Hill Monument, the city is filled with memories of why our fight for freedom was so important.

Our hotel with views of Boston Harbor and the skyline makes it easy to see the parade and participate in the Veteran's Day activities. Our luxurious waterfront hotel is just a 10 to 15-minute walk from Faneuil Hall Marketplace and the Boston Common.
