Boston Harborwalk: Hiking, Boating and Fishing

Spanning 38 miles along the piers and shoreline around Boston Harbor, this inviting public walkway consists of walking and hiking trails, parks, public art, seating areas, cafes, historic landmarks, water taxi stations, beach access to boating docks and fishing areas, picnic spots, and live music in the summer. Visitors can access several launch ramps and boating centers along the Harborwalk for sailing, canoeing or kayaking .There are many notable landmarks along the trails that include sculptural works of art and memorials. Some of Boston's most iconic locations are along the HarborWalk, including The Boston Tea Party ship and the USS Constitution.  Boston's Harborwalk is currently expanding, and soon will grow to 47 miles. It is a great way to explore Boston, check out the sites and get fresh air on a sunny day. There are audio walking tours available for a self-guided tour along the walkway that can be downloaded right to your smartphone.
