Located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Harvard University is an exclusive Ivy League school dedicated to higher learning. Established in 1636, it is the oldest college in the country and continues to be held in the utmost  regard.. There are 6,700 undergraduate students and 14,500 graduate students enrolled at the University's 15 schools. Spanning over 210-acres, the campus is home to eight museums; three art museums, three natural history museums, Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology and The Semitic Museum. It also houses the Harvard Library with over 20 million volumes under one roof. Notable alumni of the University include Barrack Obama, Al Gore, Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy. Make sure to wear your crimson attire when visiting.

  • Where Is Visitor Parking Located At Harvard University?

    There are metered parking spots around Harvard Square and in lots. There are also privately-run parking garages around the square. Visitors can also fill out a form for a one-day pass to park in a University garage.
  • What Are Some Things To Do While Spending The Day At Harvard?

    Once you have checked out campus life and all the buildings, take a free guided tour of the history and background of this education institution. Visitors should stop by the Natural History Museum on campus or check out the beautiful landscapes around the river. If it happens to be a game day, there are many sports events perfect for viewing, and if you want to feel like a local, grab a coffee or tea around Harvard Square.
